Most online stores don’t lose sales because of the product. They lose them at small moments: a product page that takes six seconds to open on 4G, a checkout that asks for an account before payment, a COD order that comes back unopened. We build stores that fix those moments. Then we hand you a dashboard simple enough that adding a new product or running a Diwali sale is a five-minute job for your own team.
Built for How Indians Shop Online
Most of your buyers will arrive on a phone, often from an Instagram or WhatsApp link, and many will want to pay by UPI or cash on delivery. So we design mobile-first, keep checkout to a single page, and put the payment options people actually use at the top. Whether you sell handmade products, fashion, electronics or wholesale to other businesses, the store is set up around your catalogue and your margins, not a theme’s defaults.

Four stages with clear dates, so you can plan your launch campaign around a real go-live day.
Discovery and Platform Choice 2–4 days
We look at your catalogue, expected order volume, payment and shipping needs, then recommend Shopify, WooCommerce or a custom build. You get a sitemap and a fixed-price proposal.
Design and Catalogue Planning 1–2 weeks
Home, category, product and checkout pages designed for your approval, along with the category structure your customers will browse.
Build and Integrations 2–4 weeks
Store development, payment gateway, courier and tax setup, and upload of your initial product catalogue.
Testing, Launch and Training 3–5 days
Real test orders on different phones and payment methods, launch, and a walkthrough of your dashboard so your team can run the store from day one.
Our old store was a chore to manage and customers kept dropping off at checkout. Softxcite rebuilt it around how our customers actually buy, and both our conversion rate and repeat orders went up within the first month.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should my store be on Shopify, WooCommerce or custom-built?
It depends on your catalogue and how you sell. Shopify suits most brands that want low maintenance. WooCommerce works well if you already run WordPress or want lower monthly costs. A custom build makes sense for unusual pricing, B2B ordering or large catalogues. We recommend one after discovery and explain why.
Can customers pay cash on delivery?
Yes. You can offer COD alongside UPI, cards and wallets, set a COD fee or order limit, restrict COD by pincode, and send an OTP or WhatsApp confirmation before dispatch to cut down on returned parcels.
Will I be able to add products and run offers myself?
Yes. Adding products, changing prices, managing stock and creating coupon codes are done from your dashboard. We train your team at handover so routine changes never need a developer.
Do you upload our products?
We set up the category structure and upload your initial catalogue from a spreadsheet as part of the build. You send product names, prices, variants and photos; we format and import them.
How long does it take to launch an online store?
Most stores go live in 4 to 7 weeks. A small catalogue on Shopify sits at the shorter end; custom builds and large catalogues take longer.
